This four-hour Scissor Lift Training/Certification is designed to train the operator on: equipment characteristics, pre-operation inspection, fall protection requirements for aerial lifts, observation, written tests, and hands-on operations. All training follows the OSHA Standards under 1910.67 and 1926.453.

As of Dec. 1, 1999, all authorized powered industrial truck operators are required to complete safety training. This course includes classroom instruction, driver observations and testing that will enhance your operator performance to reduce accidents. Each participant will perform the following requirements: successful passing of the written test, daily checklist requirements, work environment hazard recognition walk through, battery changing/charging, fueling operations and successful hands-on practical exercise.

This two day 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) course is designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. This instructor led hazard recognition training is intended as an orientation to OSHA standards and covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction work sites. The course places special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

Learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages and practice CPR in a team setting. This course will enable you to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and how to respond.  Skills include: initiating the chain of survival; performing prompt, high-quality chest compressions for adult, child and infant victims; providing appropriate rescue breaths; practicing two-rescuer team CPR; and relieving choking.

Hazwoper refers to many types of hazardous waste operations and emergency response conducted in the United States under Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard 1910.120 鈥淗azardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.鈥 The standard contains the safety requirements employers and their sub-contractors or public sector responders must meet in order to conduct clean-ups or emergency response operations. The standards covers five specific areas of operations: 

  1. Clean-up operations required by a governmental body, or other involving hazardous substances that are conducted at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites
  2. Corrective actions involving clean-up operations
  3. Voluntary clean-up operations
  4. Operations involving hazardous waste that are conducted at treatment, storage, and disposal facilities
  5. Emergency response operations for releases of hazardous substances without regard to the location of the hazard
