Public notice of Title VI program rights

Lincoln Land Community College (ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp) gives public notice of its policy to uphold and assure full compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related nondiscrimination authorities. Title VI and related nondiscrimination authorities stipulate that no person in the United States of America shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income level or limited English proficiency be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

Any person who believes they have, individually or as a member of any specific class of persons, been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income level or limited English proficiency has the right to file a formal or informal complaint in accordance with ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Board Policy 1.7: Sexual Harassment, Harassment, and Discrimination. Posting of Title IX team training components

ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp takes seriously its responsibility to comply with all applicable state and federal non-discrimination laws, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1974. § 106.45(b)(1)(iii) & § 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) of the 2020 Title IX Rule, which became effective on August 14, 2020, provides requirements for the training and posting of training materials used by all members of the Title IX team. All materials used to train the Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Coordinator, Investigators, hearing panel members, and anyone who may facilitate an informal resolution process on Title IX policies and procedures will be posted for review by students, employees, the Department of Education, and the public. In compliance with § 106.45, ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp provides information regarding relevant training and access to training components below:
