You're new to college if you have never attended a college or university. Even if you were enrolled in a dual-credit program in high school and then graduated, you are still considered a new student when you enroll as a college student at ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp.

The checklist below will help you in starting your educational journey with us.

The first step in earning a degree or certificate from ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp is to complete the application.

Once you've applied to ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp, what are your next steps? We have outlined the steps below that are needed to be fully registered and ready to start attending classes.

After submitting your application, watch for your ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Welcome email for confirmation that you can now activate your account. (Note: Welcome emails are sent on days the college is open. For applications submitted after 1 p.m., this email would arrive the next business day.)

We will send you important notifications via your ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp email, so you’ll want to be sure to check it regularly. 

Get info on submitting high school transcripts or your high school equivalency exam (such as GED®). If available, also submit SAT/ACT scores.

Completing the can open up access to grants, loans and work-study programs for those who qualify. Use ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp code 007170.

ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Financial Aid offers free, personalized financial aid assistance and help in completing the FAFSA. Email Financial.Aid@llcc.edu or call 217-786-2237 to schedule a one-on-one Zoom meeting with a financial aid advisor.

Also, the Veterans Affairs office at ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp is available to help those who qualify through the process of using their VA Education Benefits. 

We encourage you to participate in New Student Orientation. It helps set you up for success in your educational journey and is available online or in-person.

You will be connected to your student success advisor, who is your guide and go-to person at ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp. Your advisor will help you choose classes, assist with your schedule and determine what you need to graduate.

Explore available classes and view scheduling information on . Once you have completed previous steps, you can register by signing in to LoggerCentral. Students are encouraged to contact their student success advisor to discuss course options.

Get information on paying tuition and fees, including forms of payment and payment plans.

Books and supplies are available from the ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Bookstore. Visit the bookstore online or in-person.

Once you've completed these steps, you are ready to attend your first class! If you have an online class, you will log in to .
