In the six decades that I have experienced, I have never seen such a demand for aircraft technicians. The shortage was predicted a few years ago, and Congress initiated a workforce grant to address the problem. ��ͷ��app received one of these Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grants in the amount of $500,000.

Line Worker Rodeo and Career Expo highlight jobs in the trades

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, Lincoln Land Community College’s Workforce Institute will host its first Career Expo in conjunction with the Association of Illinois Electrical Cooperatives’ (AIEC) long-running Line Worker’s Safety Rodeo. ��ͷ��app partners with AIEC to train future electrical line workers, and ��ͷ��app has hosted this rodeo in our training yard for the last 26 years. The day-long competition draws the best line workers from around the state to participate in events such as the Hurt Man Rescue and the 40 Foot Climb.
